Marquette, Michigan – June 22, 2006 – United States Attorney Margaret M. Chiara announced that on June 21, 2006, David Kenneth Coker, age 27, of Oconto, Wisconsin, was sentenced by Senior United States District Court Judge R. Allan Edgar to 150 months’ confinement, three years of supervised release, restitution, and a special assessment of $100.00. On October 18, 2005, Mr. Coker pleaded guilty to an Indictment charging him with bank robbery, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2113(a). At the time of his plea, Mr. Coker admitted robbing the Nicolet National Bank in Menominee, Michigan, on July 13, 2005, taking $1,540 in U.S. Currency. Ms. Chiara expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the special agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Marquette, Michigan office, and investigators from the Menominee Police Department, the Oconto County Sheriff’s Department, and the Oconto Police Department, who investigated the matter. Assistant United States Attorneys Paul D. Lochner and Maarten Vermaat prosecuted this case on behalf of the United States.
