Daniel D. Roberts, Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Detroit, Michigan, announces the FBI is attempting to locate and identify a bank robbery suspect believed to be responsible for the robbery of the TCF Bank, 26838 Plymouth Road, Redford Township, Michigan, on Wednesday, November 22, 2006, around 7:00 p.m.
Upon entering the bank, the suspect brandished a silver handgun and demanded to be taken to the vault, where he obtained a substantial amount of cash. After exiting the bank through the back door, the suspect left the area in a vehicle which was parked in the bank parking lot.
A description of this suspect is set forth:
Race: Black
Sex: Male
Age: 25 to 30 years
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 180 pounds
Facial hair: Mustache
Clothing: Coat with various shades of brown in a puzzle pattern; light brown sweater with white and brown stripes; and blue jeans with black shoes. He was also wearing brown tinted sunglasses.
