Andrew G. Arena, Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Detroit, Michigan, announces the Detroit FBI is attempting to locate and identify two or more bank robbery suspects believed to be responsible for robbing the following three banks in the metropolitan area since March 16, 2006:

1. Chase Bank One
32203 Plymouth
Livonia, Michigan
March 16, 2006, at 9:30 a.m.

2. LaSalle Bank
24660 Southfield Road
Southfield, Michigan
January 2, 2007, at 9:17 a.m.

3. Chase Bank
24950 West Warren Avenue
Dearborn Heights, Michigan
March 16, 2007, at 9:16 a.m.

A description of two of the subjects is as follows:

Suspect #1
Race: Black
Gender: Male
Complexion: Medium
Age: Between 20-30 years old
Height: 5'8" to 6'0"
Build: Thin
Clothing: Black bandana over the face; black fur coat;
black ski cap; dark jeans; black shoes; and wore an earing
Miscellaneous: Carried a pistol

Suspect #2
Race: Black
Gender: Male
Height: 6'0"
Clothing: Wore "Scarface" t-shirt; black fur coat; dark jeans; black shoes with white laces; black hat; and black bandana over the face
Miscellaneous: Carried an AK-47 assault rifle with a wooden stock

During these armed takeovers, the suspects have entered the banks displaying an assault weapon and a handgun, ordering customers to the floor face down. During the last two robberies, the suspects have become more aggressive and physically assaulted bank employees and customers. To date, there have been no shots fired or serious injuries during these armed takeovers; however, these individuals have noticeably become more violent in their assaults on bank employees and customers once they are inside the bank.
In the most recent robbery at Chase Bank in Dearborn Heights, the subjects were observed fleeing the bank in a dark green 1999 Dodge Caravan which had been reported stolen several days earlier.
A substantial reward is being offered for information regarding these suspects which would lead to their identity, arrest, and conviction.
