Andrew G. Arena, Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Detroit, Michigan, announces the arrest of Joseph Costa Pacheco, III, age 32, of Plymouth, Michigan, on Tuesday morning, October 30, 2007. Pacheco was arrested yesterday without incident while leaving his residence, pursuant to state drug charges, and booked into the jail in Plymouth Township, Michigan.
On October 31, 2007, a federal criminal complaint and arrest warrant was filed in the Eastern District of Michigan, Detroit, Michigan, charging Pacheco with a violation of title 18, Section 2113(a). He is charged with the bank robbery of the Flagstar Bank, 3915 Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, on October 29, 2007.
It is anticipated Pacheco will have an initial appearance today, October 31, 2007, before a federal magistrate in Detroit, Michigan.
